DELIVER US FROM EVIL; NOT SELF INCLINATIONS.

Before Lucifer became satan, evil was. He's only a catalyst in the evil chain reaction. he couldn't  even create the evil he initiated.
Remember a catalyst does not work on it's own, it needs substrates and also recall that it is never consumed in the reaction. Only the reactants are consumed. Both good and evil have been in existence from time immemorial. And We have all been given the free-will to choose between the two. Whatever choice we make, is our responsibility. Directly or inversely, people indulge themselves in evil deeds but in the end, they try to blame it on the devil, feigning oblivion of the fact that their will is theirs. The devil can only tempt you with things you crave for. So therefore desire good things in order to deliver yourself from your inclinations and for God to deliver you from evil. Going to church daily,  being actively involved in religious activities, Fasting and praying, deliverance service and etc are only peripherals to conversion. The major requirement is your will to redefine your desires and motify yourself then the grace of God would be sufficiently available to you.
Incline yourself with good and positive things. And get addicted to productive things.
 Life is word and opposite. Not contradictions. so when you are on the word side of life, you've got to be on a compromise with the opposite. Not in contradiction. Words and opposites are originally meant to complement.  The best way to be on a compromise with evil without contradicting goodness is to not pretend to be oblivious to the evil inclinations within and around you.
